Facilities

Located on Cincinnati-Dayton Road just south of Towne Boulevard, Station 82 was placed in service in 1997 to service new expansion to the east. Personnel from Ladder 83 at Fire Headquarters were transferred to man Engine 82. The station itself was originally a volunteer firehouse that belonged to Franklin Township., Warren County. The station was purchased from Franklin Twp. and extensively renovated to accommodate five personnel. Along with the purchase of the station, an agreement was made to service a small portion of Franklin Township along Cincinnati -Dayton Road This station is temporary in use. When opened, the station was expected to house Medic 82 and Engine 82 for five years. Currently plans are underway to construct a new firehouse in the area of Union Road and State Route 122 as funding permits.
