The City of Middletown, in partnership with Zollett Waste, Recycling and Dumpsters, will be hosting another Trash Bash event on April 26, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at three locations across the city. This is the second year for the Trash Bash, after two successful Trash Bash events in 2024.
“We are excited for the return of the Middletown Trash Bash,” Ashley Combs, Middletown City Manager, said. “The Trash Bash is an opportunity for city staff to engage with the community while focusing on the beautification of Middletown by allowing residents to dispose of trash and other items in a safe manner, an effort that is part of Middletown’s commitment to beautify its neighborhoods and making Middletown an attractive city to live, work, and play.”
The three locations for the Spring 2025 Trash Bash are as follows:
- Middletown Bus Terminal: 55 S. Broad St.
- Breiel Church: 2000 N. Breiel Blvd.
- 1106 Young St. Parking Lot
Tires will be accepted at all locations – with a maximum of 10 tires allowed for drop off. Appliances will not be accepted; however, vouchers will be available for those wishing to dispose of appliances at a later day and time.
Items that will not be accepted include glass, mirrors, lightbulbs, batteries of any kind, any liquids (paint, oil, gas), building materials (concrete, brick, sand, drywall, gravel), propane, gas tanks, or items containing those (snowblowers, lawnmowers, blowers, etc.), extra large items (piano, hot tub, pool table), or commercial dumping (evictions, business waste).
Only Middletown residents will be able to participate in the Trash Bash. IDs will be checked upon arrival.
