Boil Advisory update 4/19/2020 4:15 p.m.: The boil advisory is lifted effective immediately. No contamination was found. Water can be used like normal. A Code Red notice is being sent out now as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. A main break on Manchester Road between Cambridge Dr. and Autumn Dr. overnight caused a temporary pressure loss in the Manchester Service Zone. The water main is repaired and pressure has been restored to the area. Per Ohio EPA requirements, a boil advisory is being issued for this area.
The City of Middletown has no evidence at this time that the water system is contaminated and is taking the necessary steps to ensure water quality. This includes water quality sampling at various locations throughout the affected area. The boil advisory will be in place until sampling results are confirmed.
