The City of Middletown runs a full-service jail facility. The Jail has a staff that includes a Lieutenant and 10 correction officers. It houses an average daily population of approximately 50 inmates. The Jail has a number of contract employees as well, including a medical staff (doctor and nurse), a cook, and a cleaning supervisor.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
You need to call the jail at (513) 425-7748 on the day you wish to visit. When calling follow the directions given for "jail visitation". You are required to have an appointment and a picture ID
Each inmate is allowed one 30 minute session per week.
ITEMS ALLOWED FOR INMATES
Cash and property can be left during any visitation hours or Monday through Friday only from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Property accepted are:
Money, no more than $100 without prior approval
New panties in package
Medication (medication can be left at any time for medical staff to check out prior to being placed in the inmate's property)
The Property Room is run by one patrol officer and is responsible for maintaining the chain of custody for all evidence. Additionally, the property room houses all found property recovered by the officers and is responsible for returning it to the rightful owners or disposing of it at auction. All of the uniforms and supplies for the Division of Police are coordinated out of this office.

The Police Records Section is the repository for all reports completed by the Division of Police and is staffed by a civilian supervisor, 1 word processor and 3 record clerks. The Records Section is responsible for maintaining copies of all offense reports, traffic accidents, citations, warning citations, arrest reports as well as numerous other documents. The Records Section is open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
